1-Flo Flowmeter
This Meter is currently the most widely used flowmeter on spray pipelining machines monitoring systems.
In the early days of monitoring, gear meters were used. The gear meters had to be compromised by fluting the gears to allow the larger particles out when they were crushed between the gears.
We developed and produced a suitable piston meter which works by filling and emptying chambers in turn, therefore particle blockage or momentary stopping does not occur.
All monitoring equipment averages the flow meter output to enable it to be displayed as a steady legible display, momentary stopping of a gear meter upsets the average count therefore leading to a slower response.
Our flowmeter can be programmed to give as many pulses per Litre as the system requires and calibrated throughout the range for increased accuracy.
Also it is very simple to dismantle and clean, having only eight main components and ten O-rings.
No special set up tools, skills or tricks are required.
For best results these meters prefer filled or viscous liquids.
The meter lasts several times longer than a gear meter and can accept larger more abrasive particles.
The electronics is manufactured to aerospace standards using 0 - 30 volt power supply giving outputs as PWM, 4-20 mA or 0-10 Volts as required by your system.
We manufacture 6 sizes for differing volumes and have a working pressure up to 400 Bar.
This flowmeter was equivalence tested by WRc in 2002 for suitability for monitoring 2 pack spray lining pump output specifically for potable water applications.
